Deutsche Borse may merge with NYSE

A German magazine is reporting that German stock Exchange, Deutsche Borse has developed a plan to merge with New York-based, NYSE Euronext.

The deal, which would create thw world’s biggest stock exchange group, would combine the businesses in a holding company in the Netherlands.

According to the report, Deutsche’s Chief Executive Reto Francioni, has presented his supervisory board with proposals for the merger.

The implications for the London Stock Exchange are not entirely clear, but must be worrying given the general economic climate.

Moneyizor Network Magazine in May

LSE Latest will soon become part of Syntagma Digital’s new network magazine, Moneyizor.

This will require a change of livery and a regular slot in the magazine’s dynamic content producer. It will also mean more regular updating with lots of new features.

Moneyizor will cover all aspects of finance and business, including the stock markets, innovation, entrepreneurial matters and small business.

Redesign of LSE Latest

LSE Latest will be receiving a complete redesign and makeover in the next week or two. Apart from upgrading to WordPress 2.1, the latest version, it will receive a brand new designer styling by Thord Hedengen.

As this site is affiliated to our LifeTimes network magazine, the colours will be burnt-Sienna-based but similar in styling to the example shown above.

There may be some disruption to service while this work is carried out, and fresh posts will be delayed for a few days.
